Gentle on the planet, too.
Sustainability isn’t a marketing campaign for us. It’s a series of small, deliberate choices we make every day — in materials, production, packaging, and partnerships.
Materials
Our Petal fabric is certified OEKO-TEX Standard 100, meaning it’s been tested for harmful substances and is safe for skin contact. We use recycled polyester in our packaging and are actively developing a fabric line made from 100% post-consumer recycled nylon, targeted for launch in 2027.
Production
We work exclusively with factories that meet SA8000 social accountability standards. Every facility is audited annually for fair wages, safe working conditions, and reasonable working hours. We visit in person at least twice a year.
Small-batch production means we don’t overproduce. We forecast conservatively and would rather sell out than create surplus inventory destined for landfill.
Packaging
All MAJSHOW orders ship in compostable mailers made from cornstarch. Tissue paper is FSC-certified and printed with soy-based ink. We don’t include plastic polybags — each piece is folded and sealed with a paper band.
Carbon
We offset 100% of our shipping emissions through verified carbon credit programs. Our goal for 2027 is to achieve carbon-neutral operations across our entire supply chain.
What We Haven’t Solved Yet
We believe in honesty about where we are. Our primary fabric still uses virgin elastane — a petroleum-derived fiber — because no recycled alternative currently meets our stretch and recovery standards. We’re working with our mill to develop one. We’ll share progress openly.
